Cranfield Airport is a busy airport situated in class G airspace, providing excellent facilities for training including VOR, NDB, ILS and VDF let-down procedures. Full Air Traffic Control (Aerodrome and Approach Control) is provided seven days a week, during Airport operating hours.

Operating hours: Mon-Fri 0830-1900; Sat, Sun & Public Holidays 0900-1800. 0/T today’s sunset.

Landing Fees: On Application | Customs: Minimum 12 hrs PNR to ATC; 24 hrs for Channel Islands.

Strictly PPR to any aircraft requiring Instrument Approach training or non-based aircraft requiring circuit training | Non-radio aircraft prohibited | High visibility clothing mandatory whilst airside | No standard overhead joins, and no deadside due to Helicopter circuits on all runways.
