Cranfield Flying School (CFS) club member from London Gautam Lewis, challenged himself to complete a 2,000 mile flight around Britain to raise awareness about a not-for-profit organisation that teaches people with disabilities to fly. He got his Private Pilots License , Night rating and IMC rating at CFS and flies the C152, C172 & PA28′s. The five-day Freedom Flight Tour called at various airports in England, Wales and Scotland. Destinations on the tour included Blackpool, Carlisle, Islay, Edinburgh, Lands End before touching back down at Cranfield. We have been sent this video from his first day, 3 more days videos to come. He is currently preparing for the Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL) ground school so that he can then do his Flight Instructor Rating with us.
