Our Maintenance Organisation.

All flying schools stand and fall on the quality of their aircraft keeping them flying and keeping our students and our instructors safe.

Most flying schools contract this activity out but we at CFS pride ourselves in our ability to maintain our own aircraft and offer a personal touch to make sure everybody is confident in the safety of our aircraft.

We have a dedicated and skilled group of engineers located in our hangar capable ofcarrying out the routine maintenance and regular checks (every 50 hours of flying) that are required for every aircraft, but also able to carry out the more complex annual check (the equivalent of the MOT on a car) and the ability and skills to overhaul and rebuild the engines. Our maintenance organisation is one of the few in the country who are licensed representatives for Lycoming the largest manufacturer of engines for light aircraft in the world.
